Hot Tapping / Saddles are made in accordance with API 6H and ASME code section VIII for branch connections on already-existing pipelines OR for weld-free plugging operations. Just tighten the side bolts to complete the installation process. Steel GirderRings, a patented invention, keep seals in place during installation to prevent damage and displacement. AdiSleeve Hot apping / Saddles can be permanently welded to the pipeline under the right circumstances.

The Hot Tap Saddle is made with clamping regions to prevent the fitting from moving while the plug is being changed. It is easy to install; just bolt it on, build the tapping apparatus, do a hydrotest, and plug it in. If this product hasn’t been welded to the pipeline, it can be recovered, restored, and put to further use.
